Sandra Klimaite (LTU)

Sandra Klimaitė, graduated from the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art with a specialization in violin and viola. She completed her bachelor’s studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the guidance of Professor Mari Tampere-Bezrodny and Ula Ulijona Zebriunaite, and graduated with a master’s degree cum laude in 2019 under the supervision of Mari Tampere-Bezrodny.

She has participated in masterclasses with Jonas Urba, Jone Kaliunaite, Mikhail Zemtsov, Sergei Ostrovsky, Michael Gaisler, Peijun Xu, Vincent Royer, and Marcin Murawski.

Sandra Klimaitė actively participates in various chamber music and orchestral projects, including Junges Musikpodium Dresden-Venice, Animato Stiftung, the Academy of Music and Drama Symphony Orchestra Gothenburg, Faroe Islands Musical Meetings, Estonian Sinfonietta, and the Nordic Symphony Orchestra.

In autumn 2018, she performed as a soloist with the EMTA Symphony Orchestra, playing the viola concerto by Cecil Forsyth. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra.
