Mia Sepp
/ Violin
Mia Sepp (b. 2005) began her violin studies at Rapla Music School under the guidance of teacher Tekla Tappo. In 2021, she entered the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School (now Tallinn School of Music and Ballet), where she currently studies with Ester Vain and, since 2024, also with Professor Mari Tampere-Bezrodny. She has further developed her artistry through masterclasses with Aet Ratassepp, Florian Donderer, Sophia Rahman, Ēriks Kiršfelds, and Evan Rothstein.
Mia has taken part in numerous competitions and festivals both in Estonia and abroad. In 2021, she won 3rd prize at the Young Musician competition in Rapla and, in 2024, was named a laureate at the 14th Estonian Young String Players Competition Festival.
As a soloist, Sepp has performed with the Harjumaa String Orchestra, the Tallinn School of Music and Ballet Symphony Orchestra, and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra.
