Dina Yoffe has enjoyed a decades-long, brilliant international solo career, which includes concerts in many European countries, Israel, Japan, the United States, Canada, and Asia.
An Honorary Member of the Chopin Society in Warsaw, Yoffe is currently a guest Professor at the Central Music Conservatory in Beijing and the Euro Arts Academy.
Originally from Riga (Latvia), she started her musical studies at the distinguished Emil Darzin´s Special School of Music in her hometown, and continued at the Central Music School in Moscow. She later attended the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor Vera Gornostayeva, one of the most important proponents of the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus school.
Already before graduating, she became a top prize-winner of the Chopin and Schumann competitions, kicking off an outstanding solo career, which includes concerts with outstanding orchestras and conductors, such as the Israel Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta, NHK under Neville Marriner, the Moscow Philharmonic under Valery Gergiev and Dmitri Kitayenko, Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra under James De Priest, Kremerata Baltica Chamber Orchestra under Gidon Kremer, and Sinfonia Varsovia under Jacek Kaspszyk.
She has given numerous recitals in famous events, such as the Festival Chopin in Duszniki (Poland), the Music Festival in Bayreuth (Germany), the Elba Music Festival (Italy), and the Summit Music Festival (USA), to name a few. Her performance venues include the Barbican Centre in London, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Sala Verdi in Milano, Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, Salle Pleyel in Paris, etc.
Yoffe has also performed a recital at the Royal Palace in the Hague for Her Majesty Queen Beatrix and given a concert series featuring all F. Chopin works for piano in Tokyo, Osaka, and Yokohama. The recitals were filmed and broadcast by NHK, the national television network of Japan.
In addition to her extensive career as a concert soloist, Dina Yoffe is an active participant in numerous chamber music festivals, where she has collaborated with many internationally renowned musicians, such as G. Kremer, Y. Bashmet, V. Tretiakov, V. Repin, M. Vaiman, M. Brunello, and others.
Also a dedicated pedagogue, Yoffe gives numerous masterclasses in Europe, the USA, and Japan, including at the Piano Texas Academy, the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, and the Yamaha Master Classes in Paris, New York, Hamburg, and Tokyo. She is also a frequent guest professor at numerous institutions in Israel, Germany, Poland, Japan, and Italy, i.e., at the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music in London.
She often serves as a jury member of the most prestigious international piano competitions, including those in Cleveland (USA), Hamamatsu (Japan), F. Chopin (Warsaw), Arthur Rubinstein (Tel Aviv), Maria Canals (Barcelona), and the Liszt Competition (Weimar). Her students are winners of national and international piano competitions. Many of them are teaching in Music academies in the USA, Japan, and Europe.
Dina Yoffe has also made numerous recordings for radio, television, and commercials, which include F. Chopin's 24 Preludes, 19 Waltzes, Fantasy in F minor, piano concertos, and the B minor Piano Sonata, as well as works by Schumann, Scriabin, among many others.
