“DISTANCES
Distances are the ones that create values
like stormy waters bringing feelings to shore

The desire to receive and give Is that what we lack?
To take and carry? To find our lighthouse

To share oneself— Stingily and jealously
So one wouldn't feel empty and harsh

HOUSE OF THOUGHTS
On the roof of the house of feelings drip the rustling drops of emotions
on the blissful and the sinful— at first slowly, then swiftly.

The drops don’t ask for permission: “May we fall?”
no warning— “We’re coming already” because otherwise, one might perish

They destroy before the house even realizes— after the storm, there might still come a gale.
Compared to the gale the storm isn't so bad

take your time— it won’t break you down
On the roof of the house of thoughts rustle the drops of happiness

on the blissful and the sinful sometimes slowly, then swiftly.

WIND OF EMOTIONS
In the pull of our emotions’ wind we are, we live,
in a vast and endless world we drift somewhere.

There is no compass, the road leads forward
That’s not a bad thing, for it’s the same for everyone.

By chance, some of us meet
at fate’s kind wish also part ways.

In the pull of our emotions’ wind we are, we live
in a vast and endless world, we drift somewhere.”
(Madis Kareda)

“I cannot tell you how I long for your return. I can no longer exist without you. I want so much to be able to hold your hand again and to sit beside you. Everything and everybody seems to me so cold… Please go on loving me as I shall go on loving you* always and forever. Wholly yours, Johannes”
(Johannes Brahms to Clara Schumann, June 25th 1855)
